Effective January 1, 2021 Seiler Instrument Survey Division has created new procedures for internal and external customers to obtain support for their survey equipment.

The original procedure was to call or email each support person individually or to call the toll free number for each office to try and obtain tech support. This could create problems if that local support representative was already assisting other customers, performing a training or on vacation. If a message or email was left for that person there would be a delay in getting a response.

Now, if you have an issue you can contact the entire support team through one email address and one toll free number. If you send an email to [email protected], it will create a support case that is visible to the entire support team. You will then get a notification that a case has been submitted along with a case number for that inquiry. Any correspondence made with the case number referenced will be logged in the system for future reference should this situation arise again. If you would rather call in, you can reach the entire support team by calling 844-266-7266. If a person on the support staff is busy assisting someone else, there are 5 others that can answer that call. In the rare event that everyone is busy or unavailable you can leave a message that will create a case that is visible to the entire support team.

The ultimate goal is to make it easier for the customers, internal and external, to get assistance from the survey support staff. By creating one email address and having one phone number, I feel we have achieved this goal.
