With the announcement in 2019 of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) West moving their headquarters to St. Louis, the region has mobilized around innovation in the geospatial industry. The greater St. Louis region is poised to become a major influential contributor to geospatial science and technology. A number of new geospatial organizations, companies, institutions, and programs have been established. And the number keeps increasing. Missouri and the surrounding areas have been transforming into the capital of geospatial innovation. Together, government, academic, and industry leaders are developing the infrastructure and ecosystem needed to support a larger geospatial industry in the St. Louis area for the world of tomorrow.

Also headquartered in St. Louis, as well as being a geospatial leader in the Midwest, Seiler has a rich history of contributing and collaborating with local organizations and institutions to assist in supporting the future of innovation within the geospatial industry.

With all of this in mind, we want to showcase below a list of the major organizations, agencies, and educational institutions that are helping to transform the Midwest and the St. Louis region into a “Geospatial Center of Excellence”.
