If you have not heard about the news from ESRI Apps, ArcGIS Collector was retired back in December of 2021, with ArcGIS Field Maps taking its place as their field data collection tool. On November 1, 2022 ESRI will be pulling all versions of ESRI Collector from the Google Play Store and the App Store.

With this information, one may be asking the question, “Will the app still work on my device even though it has been removed from the store?” The answer to this question is yes! The application will still work as it previously worked in the past, one will no longer be able to download the application itself. Below is a blog post documenting the retirement of Collector.

Now the question remains, what is replacing ArcGIS Collector and the answer to that question is ArcGIS Field Maps. Not familiar with ArcGIS Field Maps? Below are resources to help answer questions about Migrating to Field Maps from Collector and why one should move to the new app.
