About the Trainor:
David Clancy is a seasoned Geospatial Application Engineer and Survey Technical Trainer for Seiler Geospatial.
David has over two decades of hands-on experience in field surveying. Having started in the field and worked his way up to Crew Chief roles at firms including V3 Companies and Professional Land Surveying, David possesses an intricate understanding of field operations. Currently, David specializes in modern survey technology, including Trimble robotic total stations and GPS rover systems and is a technical application engineer. David is driven by a commitment to mentor and pass his practical knowledge along to the next generation of surveyors, focusing on operational efficiency and technical precision. He holds education in AutoCAD and is skilled in managing project lifecycles from data collection to As-builts and plats. David’s motto “I would like to share my training and knowledge and pass it along to the next generation of field surveyors.”
