IOWA 3-Day Workshop Event for ALL survey customers, private, government, and education focused.
Agenda Highlights:
Day 1 – Trimble Access Day:
• Advanced ROADS – Importing a XML file AND/OR keying in a road alignment
• Trimble Connect – Hands-on setting up a project and team
• Getting the Most out of Trimble Access – New features in the last few versions that will support field efficiencies
• Using IBSS as an alternative to traditional UHF radios, and Trimble RTX
• Measure Codes utility in Access and Working with FXL files for linework in Map View
• Discuss NATRF2022 datum handling and Trimble’s readiness
Day 2 – Remote Sensing Workflow in TBC
• Working with drone LiDAR data and workflow into Autodesk
Day 3 – TBC Using Models and inspection tools
• Advanced Feature Coding in Access and working in TBC
• Moving GIS data between ESRI and TBC/Access with full attribution and database consistency (Tom Krohn virtual or in person)
• IFC models – How they are used in TBC and Access
• Trimble SiteVision – Using it on a job site, model setup and field usage
Time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day
Costs:
$400 for any single day.
$750 for any 2 days.

About the Trainers:
Trainor: David Clancy is a seasoned Geospatial Application Engineer and Survey Technical Trainer for Seiler Geospatial.
David has over two decades of hands-on experience in field surveying. Having started in the field and worked his way up to Crew Chief roles at firms including V3 Companies and Professional Land Surveying, David possesses an intricate understanding of field operations. Currently, David specializes in modern survey technology, including Trimble robotic total stations and GPS rover systems and is a technical application engineer. David is driven by a commitment to mentor and pass his practical knowledge along to the next generation of surveyors, focusing on operational efficiency and technical precision. He holds education in AutoCAD and is skilled in managing project lifecycles from data collection to As-builts and plats. David’s motto “I would like to share my training and knowledge and pass it along to the next generation of field surveyors.”
Trainor: Mark Schnesk, Professional Services Manager, Autodesk Certified Instructor Platinum, Autodesk Civil 3D Certified Professional, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
Mark Schnesk has 30+ years’ experience as a civil engineering technician along with experience in surveying and geospatial analysis. He has worked with firms in Michigan, Florida and Illinois on various infrastructure projects including transportation, utility and land development. Mark also brings to Seiler Design Solutions several years of field experience in both surveying and infrastructure design. Mark is a native of Flint, Michigan but now resides in Union Missouri with his family. Mark graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1991. Mark is an AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Professional and also an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot.
Trainor: Levi Shinn, Geospatial Technical Support.
Levi Shinn is a Geospatial Technical Support Professional with Seiler and is an experienced Trimble Trainer. He has a Masters in GIS and has been with Seiler for past 4 years.
