On December 30th, 2021, Seiler Instrument & Manufacturing Company Inc., acquired the assets of Precision Midwest operations in Plainfield, Illinois. The Seiler family is excited for the opportunity to invest and build upon the solid Trimble Survey and Mapping business. Tom Seiler, executive vice president, of Seiler Instrument Geospatial and the Seiler family have worked hard to ensure a smooth transition of the Precision Midwest team as well as our Trimble and Spectra Precision geospatial customer partners in northern Illinois and Iowa. Tom stated, “We will soon have a new office located in northern Illinois. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue growing the Seiler Geospatial team in northern Illinois and Iowa leveraging our deep Trimble survey and mapping/GIS domain knowledge. Seiler Geospatial will be adding employees to the Illinois and Iowa industry solutions team with survey and mapping sales domain experts. Additional innovative industry offerings will be added by the Seiler Design Solutions business segment including; Autodesk AEC software and GeoSLAM indoor / outdoor mobile mapping products. Additionally, we will also offer drone solutions from manufacturers such as; DJI, Microdrones, and Quantum Systems from Seiler GeoDrones. Seiler Geospatial plans to feature Trimble Geospatial surveying equipment and software along with innovative indoor and outdoor vehicle-mounted mobile mapping, and 3D spatial imaging systems.
