The Trimble Triple Mag Mount for the X7 3D Laser Scanner is designed to securely attach the Trimble X7 to compatible metal surfaces, including vehicles and structural members. This mounting accessory features three 3¾-inch magnets that provide a strong, stable connection for specialized scanning setups where a traditional tripod may not be the best option.
The mounting plate includes a connection point for attaching the X7 laser scanner using the Trimble Quick Release Adapter, P/N 90573-QR. When all three magnets are attached to a solid steel surface, the magnets are strong enough to support upside-down mounting of the scanner. Care should always be taken to confirm the scanner is properly secured before operation, especially when mounting in non-standard positions.
