How to move (deactivate) a Trimble MGIS license from 1 mobile device to another – including PC’s?

Since 2009 Trimble Mobile licenses for your Recon, Juno, Nomad, Geo’s etc have required an Activation procedure to lock down the install code to that device.  Since Fall 2011 Trimble has required this for the Trimble MGIS Office software.

How to move (deactivate) a Trimble MGIS license from 1 device to another – including PC’s?  What do you do?

Send us an e-mail at: mapsupport@seilerinst.com and we will have your install code deactivated from the hardware so that it can be installed onto a different device.

  • If you would like to move a Trimble Mobile install code license from 1 mobile device to another i.e. TerraSync, GPS Correct or Field Inspector.
  • If you wish to use a install code from your Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office, GPS Analyst and or Field Inspector software to another PC etc.
