One of the most powerful attributes of the Trimble MX2 system is the system’s portability. All of the data is collected from both LiDAR units, the spherical camera, IMU, & GNSS receivers onto a single laptop through an ethernet and USB cable. The system ships out in a few boxes, all of which can travel through conventional carriers (no freight needed). Even with all the system can do, we can still quickly deploy it. We get the question on setup time so frequently that I recorded the setup time on a recent demo scan to show just how quickly it can be setup. Please take a look at our significantly sped up video:
