Unlocking Developer Options and Allowing Mock Locations on an Android device

See our video on “Seiler Solutions You Tube” for Allowing Mock Locations on an Android device

The purpose for Unlocking Developer Options and turning on “Allowing Mock Locations” on an Android device is so that we can use the GNSS Location from an external GNSS device.  This will then allow for more accurate GNSS locations in Mapping applications instead of the internal location of the Android device.

  • If you are not able to access You Tube due to IT permission please email use at mapsupport@seilerinst.com and we can work with you on obtaining the video another way.
