Subject: Sunday March 8th: WISCORS Software Update

Hello WISCORS users:

A WISCORS Network outage is scheduled for Sunday, March 8th, starting at 5:00 am.    The purpose of the outage is to complete a software version update.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN:

On Sunday, March 8th, the network will be unavailable, starting at 5:00 am.   A notice will be sent when the update is complete and the network is available again, but users should anticipate all WISCORS services to be Offline for at least 5 hours on Sunday, March 8th.

NOTE:

This software update will not change how user devices connect to the WISCORS Network and no connection configuration changes are required as a result of this update.  This software update will not impact base station coordinates or the default reference frame of the network.

NATRF2022:

As many are already aware, there are changes forthcoming on the national level regarding a new reference frame (NATRF2022).  Users will be responsible for understanding how the new reference frame will impact their respective work.  More information in the coming months regarding how the new reference frame will be incorporated relative to the WISCORS Network, but currently there are no reference frame changes planned for calendar year 2026.

Thanks,

WISCORS Team
